The Glock 17 is the original 9x19 Parabellum Glock model, with a standard capacity of 17 rounds, introduced in 1982. There are many variations of the Glock 17 including the G-17L, G-17C, G-17MB, G-17M, and the G-P80. The G17 has an trigger safety, and is drop safe.
